1. How do I register an interstate car?

Every state has its own rules and regulations for vehicles registration. Please contact to us and we will do the rest for you.

2. How do I transfer my registration to interstate?

Vehicle registration is NOT transferable one state to another. To change your registration for another state, please contact to us for more details.

3. Can Traffic Connect does vehicle transport and registration in bulk?

Most of our clients are car rental companies, fleet and car dealers and we always deal with bulk number of cars.

4. Can I get registration services only from Traffic Connect?

Yes, you can.

5. What is a Blue Slip and RWC?

It is a safety certificate to verify a vehicle safe by fulfilling the design and standards.

6. Who does RWC and Blue Slip?

Traffic Connect. We have authorized mechanic who looks after safety side of the vehicles.

7. Can I choose 3, 6 or 12 months registration?

Yes you can. Please advised us from the beginning of the process.

9. How much is the stamp duty?

Every state or territory has their own rates for the motor vehicle duty. For Victoria it is 4.2% and 3% for NSW for passenger vehicles.

In Victoria CTP insurance is administered by the TAC (Transport Accident Commission), which is also the sole issuer of CTP green slips. Claims are made to the TAC and they pay compensation for injuries or deaths caused by a car accident.

11. Is CTP compulsory?

In Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania, and Western Australia, Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance is included in the cost of your vehicle registration. In New South Wales (where CTP is often known as 'Green Slip') and Queensland, you must have CTP Insurance sorted before registering your car.
